Why I Built the Bourdain Suitcase
I spent years as a TV producer, living out of a suitcase across different countries and cities. Traveling like that a suitcase becomes part tool, part home - the one thing that has to work, every single time, no matter where you land.
I went through cases that cracked and cases that felt like no one had ever actually used them before they were sold to me. None of them were built for the way I was actually living.

Shell and frame: aluminum alloy, closed with an aluminium frame closure rather than a zipper. Handle: soft-touch telescopic grip. Wheels: four 360° spinner casters. Lock: built-in TSA-approved combination lock.
Available in five sizes - 20", 22", 24", 26", and 29". The smaller sizes (20"/22") are cabin-friendly on most airlines - always check your specific airline's carry-on limits before you fly. The larger sizes (26"/29") are built for checked baggage.
