YSL states that all formats of MYSLF are refillable with the additional purchase of a 150ml refill bottle. The process, as YSL describes it: once the spray bottle is empty, remove the cap, unscrew the pump, screw the refill onto the bottle neck, turn it to the on position, and it fills and stops automatically when full.

It is well designed and it is genuinely less wasteful than buying a new bottle each time. Two things follow from it though, and neither is obvious from the marketing.

First, refillable here means you can top up your big bottle. It does not mean you can fill something pocket-sized.

Second, the refill is an additional purchase at 150ml. That is above the 100ml carry-on limit, so it never travels with you.

YSL does sell a 10ml MYSLF travel spray, sold on its own and bundled into gift sets with the full-size bottle.

It is a real solution to the travel problem. It is also a second purchase of a fragrance you already own, and when the 10ml is gone you are buying again.
